This portfolio demonstrates applied localization expertise across multiple fields and content types, emphasizing consistency, quality assurance, and user-centered adaptation rather than literalness. The goal is to prepare and polish several real-life scenarios that show professional skills and quality standards.

2. Scope of Work

• Case #1: Technical documentation terminology management
• Case #2: Educational content localization
• Case #3: Audiovisual subtitling and media adaptation

Each case was selected to represent a distinct localization challenge.

Case #1 was selected to demonstrate use of CAT tools (Weblate), collaboration skills and understanding of localization needs in software development.

Case #2 was chosen to show strengths in the educational field, as well as deep linguistic knowledge and familiarity with the nuances of Japanese, another important language in the tech world both in software and hardware.

Case #3 shows an understanding of AV localization standards, including subtitling principles, video editing, SRT file management and mathematical lexicon.

3. Methodological Consistency
